PCB Assembly

EXPERIENCE DATING BACK TO 1963. PRODUCTION FACILITIES SET UP IN 2017.

At Hekatron you benefit from an extensive production portfolio in PCB assembly, including SMD, THT, THR or mixed assembly. We use all conventional soldering methods, including reflow (convection or vapour phase), wave, selective, laser and automatic soldering. We are also happy to clean and coat your high-end products.

Regardless of your assembly and module manufacturing requirements, we will do everything we can to make sure you get what you need. We have more than five decades of experience and use state-of-the-art technology, so you can sit back and relax. You can save on stress, the cost of investing in your own production facilities and building up your own expertise.

Place your ideas in our hands. We are guaranteed to make the best of them.

PCB ASSEMBLY REFERENCES

SMT ASSEMBLY

Maximum precision and reliability. 100% automated.

In surface mount technology (SMT) assembly, our pick-and-place machines connect the surface mount devices (SMDs) to the PCB. The module is then heated and thus soldered in one of our reflow (convection or vapour-phase) soldering ovens.

THT ASSEMBLY

High-quality manual assembly. Right down to the finest detail.

Through-hole technology (THT) is generally used for PCB connectors, edge connectors and cables and sometimes needs to be assembled manually. Wired components are inserted into through holes in the PCB and soldered underneath using our wave soldering machine. We rely on our selective soldering machine or on manual soldering for double-sided assembly and other difficult-to-access soldering joints.

CLEANING AND COATING

High reliability and a long life cycle. Even in the toughest conditions.

We coat your modules in a conformal coating process to ensure that they function reliably in tough ambient conditions involving moisture or contaminated air. We also clean high-impedance modules in order to avoid residues and corrosion.
